America's Boating Course

This course meets the New York State education requirement for the Personal
Water Craft (PWC) Operation Permit, Youth and Adult Boating Certificate. Upon
​successful completion, you will have met the requirements to operate a
​PWC or as a youth boater operate a vessel independently. 

America's Boating Course provides basic boating knowledge to decide what type and size boat you need, what to do when meeting another boat in a crowded waterway, and how to recognize and handle hazards. Become a more competent boater -  learn from the best, and enroll in America's Boating Course today. 

This course is offered as a classroom course. Successful completion meets the boating education requirements for the operator permit of licensure in New York State. 

Many boat insurance companies will offer discounts to boaters who successfully complete America's Boating Course. Additionally, this course provides a sound basis for continuing your recreational boating education.

Upon successful completion of this course, a permanent certificate will be issued.

Class Fee is $75 per person and includes class materials. 

PART 1 - Saturday, June 14, 2025: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
PART 2 - Tuesday, June 17, 2025: 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
