Whether it’s boat building, shipwrecks, shellfish harvesting or recreational boating that captures your imagination, it’s all here under our roofs, in our galleries and at our many events and programs. Young and old alike will discover the links between the Island's maritime and natural histories and will encounter some of the amazing creatures living in our local waters. Digital Archives
In our continuing effort to bring history to life, we
have begun the digitization of the Museum's media archives. As you will see, some of the content contains only video - leaving sound to the imagination. Some are professional documentaries and interviews; others amateur recordings made with the intent to preserve activities that were once a way of life. Join us as we rediscover these moments in time by renewing your Membership or becoming a new Digital Member. View the video below for a sneak peek. |
