Chester Yawl   15' LOA   42" Beam

Fun for the entire family. This LapStitch design's long, graceful sweeps of plank achieve a hull shape
of striking beauty and glittering performance. At 15' long, the Chester Yawl is about the right size for easy
trailering (or even cartopping), and the payload of 450 pounds means that two or three adults
may safely set out for a great day on the water or just a picnic.

Designer John C. Harris took particular care with the design of the interior allowing for
maximum flexibility
and sprawling room. A moveable seat and foot braces are adapted from the work of
L. Francis Herreshoff. Full floorboards add even more liv
ability. With 7' 6" oars the Chester Yawl
has a lovely glide and can be rowed all day at an easy pace.
