FROM THE L I EXPRESSWAY - 495 |
East on LIE to Exit 59 South-Ocean/Lakeland Avenues. Bear to the left at the fork where Ocean and Lakeland divide. Follow Lakeland into the village of Sayville, about 6 miles. Make a right turn onto Main Street (Montauk Highway/Rt 27A/CR85). Follow Main Street west through Sayville about 1 mile. Go 2 blocks past the West Sayville Fire Department on your left to West Avenue. Make a left turn onto West Avenue, going south, about 1/4 of a mile. The entrance to the Museum is on the right. |
FROM SOUTHERN STATE PARKWAY |
East on Southern State to Exit 45 East-Montauk Hwy/Rt 27A-Great River. Follow Montauk Hwy. east for approximately 4 miles. On your right, you will pass signs for Dowling College, St. John's University and the West Sayville Golf Course. After the golf course, make the 1st right turn onto West Avenue, going south, about 1/4 of a mile. The entrance to the Museum is on the right. |

From the WEST: East on Sunrise Highway to Exit 47A-Oakdale-Bohemia Road South. Make a left turn onto Montauk Highway/Rt 27A/CR85, going east. On your right, you will pass signs for St. John's University and the West Sayville Golf Course. After the golf course, make the 1st right turn onto West Avenue, going south, about 1/4 of a mile. The entrance to the Museum is on the right. |
From the EAST: West on Sunrise Highway to Lakeland Avenue South (K-Mart Shopping Center). Follow Lakeland into the village of Sayville, about 6 miles. Make a right turn onto Main Street (Montauk Highway/Rt 27A/CR85). Follow Main Street west through Sayville about 1 mile.
