The Construction
Ken Stein Jr. was a great friend and supporter of the Museum. As owner of the Sayville ferry service, his place in our maritime history is assured.

In his honor, the Museum broke ground in Spring 2001 on a magnificent new front gate, incorporating our USCG and USLHS bronze bells. A commemorative plaque was affixed in his honor.
