Eagle Scout
Projects

To earn an Eagle Scout service badge, many Eagle Scouts have
completed projects at the Museum. These projects are ideal contributions
to our many exhibits. In order to earn their badge, the project must first be
approved by the Museum staff then by the Scout leader. The Eagle Scout
must design, arrange for the materials and then complete the project.

In the backyard of the Bayman's Cottage Exhibit, you will find this replica of a water well similar to the one that was once there.

This Viewing Stand allows visitors to see inside many of our larger craft in the Small Craft Exhibition Building.

This grape arbor replaced an existing arbor that was in much need of repair.

The addition of these floating docks makes life much easier for the work that must be done in the Boat Basin by the Boatshop crew.

We have several projects that are waiting to be done. If any Scout is interested in doing a project at the Museum, please contact the Museum by e-mail at Projects or call the office at (631) HISTORY.
