Halloween Boat Burning

The Halloween Boat Burning began as a simple thank you to the local residences because they had to endure an increase in traffic and more activity as the Museum gained popularity.

Loosely based on the Viking tradition of a nautical burial, someone donates an old, neglected wooden boat to become the "burn boat"
for the year.

Halloween costumes, hot apple cider, sea chanties, pumpkins, crisp autumn air. the annual boat raffle and a great, big bonfire...

Just $5 per person and under 12 FREE,
come visit our
Ghosts and Goblins....
